How to Save Your Coriander: Tips and Tricks to Extend its Use

Drying Out

Coriander leaves are best dried out. This will make them last longer, and you can use them in any recipe that calls for dried herbs. You can dry them out in the oven, or on the stovetop with a very low temperature. If you have a dehydrator, use that. Dried coriander will keep for up to 6 months if kept in an airtight jar out of direct sunlight. It’s best to store it in the fridge to keep it fresh and at the right temperature. Dried coriander leaves can be used in soups, stews, chutneys, pickles, curries, and marinades. You can also use them to add some flavor to your coffee grinds. Just add a spoonful of dried coriander to your coffee grinder, and you’ll get a wonderful aroma in your coffee.
